Why should I care about EU elections?

Badges earners joined the second activity of the programme “I vote for myself! Redefining a common path to 2024 EU elections”, an Inter Alia hosted debate together with Lefteris Papagiannakis, Director of the Greek Council for Refugees and former Assistant to a Member of the European Parliament in Brussels. This activity relates to the European Youth Goal #1 Connecting EU with youth.

Participants engaged in a stimulating debate about how EU elections work and why they are relevant, what and who people actually vote for, what happens after the Members of the European Parliament are elected and start their daily work, and learn some “behind the scenes” information.

This badge was issued during the training as a part of the European Youth Goals in Cities of Learning cooperation partnership implemented by four partner organisations: System&G, lead partner in Greece, CODEC, Belgium, Badgecraft, Lithuania and System&G Finland.
